Post-Mortem

And now a word from your host. Reg and Syd are too busy gloating over the recent election results in Reg’s pool room to do anything more than sip port, and the Dudes are polishing their surfboards in the hope that they can catch one last wave set before they’re jailed for suggesting that Sam Adams’s Tea Party was an act of terrorism.

Your Friendly (well, more or less, given the circumstances) Neighborhood Amoeba read the following comment today on a New York Times op-ed piece – a piece that considers the prospects for science research funding in these Untied States of America following the neo-Nazi Republican takeover of the Reichstag House of Representatives for which We the People have just voted.

Too bad that yesterday the American electorate voted for flat-earthers, climate change deniers and supporters of “creationism” and “intelligent design” over evolution.

Excuse me now. I have to go walk my dinosaur.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Except maybe that should be “Excuse please. My dinosaur is insisting on walking me.”
