Amoeba’s Lorica: Un-Ferry

For the last 15 years, Your Friendly Neighborhood Amoeba and his Dame Amoeba (Quilly) have had the privilege of choosing between two island paradises: the San Juan Islands of Washington State and the Hawaiian Islands. They have resided in Hawai‘i for the last nine years, but have visited the San Juans from time to time, most recently in 2022 during the last big COVID surge. At various points in time, YFNA and Quilly have chronicled aspects of their journey on another blog, O’Ceallaigh and the Quill. Especially when the San Juan Islands have been the subject.
